Authors' Instructions and Schedule

In order to shorten the time between paper submission and the conference, all abstract and paper submission as well as the review process will be done electronically through a web based system. Abstracts and papers will only be accepted in PDF-format.

Abstract submission

Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts not exceeding one A4-sized page until September 15, 2007 (new deadline) . Abstracts and full papers should comprise the following items:

  • Full title of the paper
  • Contact person
  • Authors and their affiliations
  • Contact person (name, postal and email addresses, phone and fax)
  • Keywords (maximum seven keywords)
  • Summary of the paper (The original contributions should be emphasized.)

Please use the Conference Software and the writing instructions for PSCC papers accordingly.

Within two weeks after receipt of the abstract, the contact person will be notified of whether or not the abstract is accepted.

Full paper submission

After acceptance of abstract, authors will be requested to submit the full paper (maximum seven pages) until November 1, 2007. Accepted papers longer than seven pages will be subject to a page charge (100 Euros). The full papers should comply with the writing instructions for PSCC papers (in pdf). We have prepared some example documents for your convenience:

Archives for Windows containing a set of Latex style files and a PDF-file describing their use. Keep the style files in the same folder as the document file.

Additional remarks

The contact person will be notified about acceptance and required modifications by March 1, 2008.

All papers are evaluated by the Technical Programme Committee through a fair and rigorous procedure in order to guarantee a technical programme of outstanding quality. All accepted papers have to be presented at the conference, and will be published in the conference proceedings. English will be used for the technical presentations and discussions.

A selection of the best papers of the conference will be published in a special issue of the International Journal of Electric Power and Energy Systems.
